The Nuclear and Applied Robotics Group is an interdisciplinary research group at U.T. Austin. Our Mission: develop and deploy advanced robotics in hazardous environments in order to minimize risk for the human operator. Researchers complete a rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum in order to understand the requirements for deploying systems in the nuclear or other relevant domain. The breadth and quality of the Cockrell School of Engineering and its faculty ensures we are well-qualified to develop programs in a variety of application domains (i.e. radiation, space, battlefield, medical, oil exploration, etc.).
