PhD - Kyle Schroeder completed his PhD in July, 2013 with his dissertation entitled "Requirements for effective collision detection on industrial serial manipulators." After working for 2 years as a full-time student affiliate at LANL, he moved to Arizona where he is studying volitional control and feedback of robotic prosthetic devices as a post doctoral research candidate in the Human Machine Integration Laboratory at Arizona State University. He is also researching and developing powered prosthetic ankles at SpringActive (www.springactive.com).
